About Ricky Williams Celebrity Golf Scramble
The Ricky Williams Celebrity Golf Classic is an annual event that brings together athletes, celebrities, and golf enthusiasts for a day of competition, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences. Now in its second year, the tournament will take place on May 19, 2025, at Falconhead Golf Course, offering participants the chance to play on a premier course while enjoying a first-class event atmosphere.
Ricky Williams is one of the most legendary running backs in college football history. A standout at the University of Texas, he won the 1998 Heisman Trophy after a record-breaking senior season, solidifying his place as one of the greatest Longhorns of all time. His dominance on the field led to a successful 11-season NFL career, where he became known for his powerful running style, earning a Pro Bowl selection and multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
More than just a football icon, Ricky has built a legacy that extends beyond the game. How We Started
MVP was founded in 2015 by Fox Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer and former Green Beret and Seattle Seahawk Nate Boyer.
They wanted to address the challenges that veterans and professional athletes face in transition once the uniform comes off.
MVP empowers military, veterans, and professional athletes to thrive when the uniform comes off, through fitness, health, and wellness programs.
